 Location
Southeastern Montana is an area rich in history where many of our pioneer forefathers crossed, Native Americans lived and died, and where the skirmishes leading up to the Battle of the Little Big Horn took place. It is a land of sagebrush, buffalo grass, and tawny prairie grass knee high covering the vast landscape. The climate in this area can be extreme and the sights breathtaking.
  Guests are able to experience a great sense of freedom and space when they visit this region. The State of Montana itself has less than a million residents. To further demonstrate, Powder River county is comprised of 3,297 square miles (2.1 million acres) and has less than 2000 residents. |
